blend-a-med Forschung

The original receipt of the blend-a-med toothpaste was developed by Hertha Hafer and offered to the Blendax company in 1949. In 1951 the production of the blend-a-med toothpaste, the first medical toothpaste in Germany has started.

Aswell in the year of 1951 the Blendax-factory in Mainz came to the decision for the foundation of the blend-a-med Forschung.  The label “blend-a-med Forschung” is chosen, for the documentation that there has been established a special department within the Blendax company, which develops products for consumer and dentists by own research in the sector of prophylaxis about tooth and mouth disease.

Even today it is the claim of the blend-a-med Forschung to arouse the people’s awareness for the prevention of tooth and mouth disease.
